The Campbellsport Area of Commerce met on Wednesday August 18, 2004 at the National Exchange Bank & Trust.
Present were Tom Krueger, Julie Roth, Larry Koffmann, Jackie Lindsley, Lynn Serwe, Dean Uelman, Rhonda Lichensteiger, Ken Stubbe, Judy Christensen, Lois Zingsheim, July Holzman, Jeff and Jackie Rindt, Andrea Hanson Abler, and Joel Fleischman
The Committee members have shifted a bit with Andrea/Tom being information and Tourism.
Development is Joel/Larry, while Promotions & Events stay with Jackie/Raelene.
Information & Tourism – Tom reported that the map and tourism book is ready to go to the printers. Some business members didn’t want to participated because it was so late in the year. This book is for two years, so in the future there will be hope for more participation.

Joel reported that a letter of Thanks would go out to Ken Stubbe for his years of service to our community.
The first business development meeting had 13 in attendance with some new faces from the convent. It was decided that the flower pots would be Gwen Kober and Judy Holzman’s responsibility with the FFA planting and maintain the flower pots throughout the year.
Carey Serwe and Andrea Hanson Abler will complete a list of the available business to lease rent or own with Joel Fleischman as the contact person.
Larry reported that the list of business and description is being worked on.
Promotions & Events. Jackie reported that the Halloween Caper is coming up and will be contacting people to help work that night. Also the fireworks will happen earlier for the sake of the children.
Treasurer’s Report Julie Roth reported that the Net checkbook balance is $16,253.34 with the Money market (Development Fund) is $8, 745.15.
Membership Report Power and COM Park out of Beaver Dam joined the Chamber. They might a good alternative to your Internet provider.
Old Business is that the sign is up!!! Don’t have the final cost as lighting and landscaping isn’t complete. Stay tuned for more.
