Minutes of the Jan. 10, 2007 Chamber of Commerce Meeting

Present: Joel Fleischman, Dean Uelmen, Chris Schanen, Tom Krueger, Kevin Riley, Dale Zingsheim, Lori Galligan, Patti Schickert, Liv Moyer, and Julie Roth
Meeting was called to order by Pres. Tom Krueger.
Committee Reports:
Information and Tourism: Andrea and Liv
No Ribbon cuttings at this time.
Kettle Moraine Booklets/Map-Tom requested that any member interested in helping with this booklet to attend a meeting that will be held on Wed. Jan. 17th at noon at King Pin Lanes.
Business and Development-Ike/Casey
Ike and Casey were not present. Tom talked to them and asked that if we could look for other interested parties to chair/co-chair this committee. We will ask Dennis Kelliher and Rhonda Lichtensteiger if they would be interested in taking over these positions.
CAB Program-for 2007, the Chamber will commit to $1,000.00 per CAB project giving $500.00 for the 1st year and then $500.00 for the 2nd year after completing all CAB Project requirements. Joel will discuss the financial commitment from CBS, Dr. Dean Uelmen and NEBAT for 2007.

Treasurer’s report-Julie
Ending balance is $16,806.12, the Development fund is $7,580.82 and gift certificates is $1,675.00. Nothing new at this time.
Membership report-Julie
No new members for Dec. 2006
Old Business:
Work Shop-this presentation from Fox Valley will be discussed at the annual meeting on how we would like to proceed with this.
New Business:
Tom requested that all Chair persons have a budget prepared by the next meeting.
It has been decided to allocate funds to an interest bearing account. We will put $3329.41 in a CD for 3 months. This will be the Picnic/Truck Pull funds for 2007
Gwen and Angie Kober will be recognized at the Annual Dinner meeting. They “NSP GRAPHICS” have received the “Governor’s Trail Blaze Award” for women.
Lori Galligan informed the Chamber members there will be a Health and Wellness Clinic on Jan. 24th at St. Joseph’s Convent in the St. Clare room. All are invited to attend.
Chris Schanen told us that the Lion’s Club Roast will be held on Feb. 3rd at Northwinds. Jeff and Jackie Lindsley, Gerry and Louise Ottery will be roasted and Bill Marianne Timblin will be honored.

Joel and Tom presented a $500.00 CAB check to St. Joseph’s Convent
FCEDC Photo gallery-Beth Lando is looking for a Chamber member to help her with this project for the FCEDC-Kevin Riley from Creative Photo and Design has offered to work with Beth.
Serwe Chevrolet in Campbellsport has a new manager and is looking at joining the Chamber. Tom will stop and talk to him.
The Progress Report for the Fond du Lac reporter is looking for an article on the Chamber. Since Dean Uelmen is writing the article on the Village, he has volunteered to write one for the Chamber as well.
The next meeting will be on Wed. Feb 14th at 7:00 a.m. at the new St. Frances Center (formally the Campbellsport Clinic).
