The Campbellsport Area Chamber of Commerce met Wednesday July 13 at the Campbellsport Inn.
Present were Tom Krueger, Joel Fleischman, Scott and Beth Remmel, Derek Torker, Steve Vogelmann, Judy Christensen, Larry Koffman, Jackie Rindt, Jackie Lindsley and Dean Uelmen.

The village booklet may be delayed until next year.
Ribbon cuttings for Lunch Box and CC Cody’s will be announced soon.
Joel and Larry reported on Business & Development.
The 4th of July profit and loss will not be available until next month. Everything was successful; however, the weather did not permit the skydivers to land. There was discussion on how to entice bands to the parade. Joel will be working with Mark Yungers on that aspect.
The CAB made money available to Chuck Cabinetry for façade improvement.
Tuesday July 19th there will be a walk through Main Street to look at possible buildings for new businesses.
Promotions and Events Jackie Lindsley reported that the 50/50 raffle went well.

Old Business
A motion by Dean Uelman and a second by Larry Koffman gave the Farmers Market a start date of Saturday the 16th. At Ben Franklin from 8:00 to 12:00 Steve Vogelman will be the contact person. The board voted to buy sandwich boards for advertising purposes at the entrance to the village.
Music Under the Stars over 250 people attended was a great event. Judy Holzman sent a thank you to Dick and Barb for their support.
Brat Update Usingers is trying to go for the longest brat this summer at 40 feet.
New Business
Lois Zingzeim introduced Derek Torker a Campbellsport native. Derek reported that he and his brother are negotiating to buy the Health Hut. He shared with us that they will be providing a full service Health Club, and had hopes of opening a fitness camp where they would be teaching our area youths how to increase their strength and speed. They would also provide at home fitness training, nutritional products and Tanning. Everyone was very excited that a much needed fitness center would be opening. Good Luck Derek
