The Chamber met at 12:00 for lunch as the guest of the St. Joseph’s Convent

Present: Jean Janz, Lynn Serwe, Andrea Hansen Abler, Angie Feucht, Judy Johnson, Joel Fleischman, Tom Krueger, Larry Koffman, Lois and Dale Zingsheim, Julie Roth, Jackie Lindsley, Patti Schickert, Lori Galligan, Director Mike Kurtz from the Convent and Judy Christensen.

The new director Mike Kurtz gave a brief rundown of activity and history of the convent. They house 175 residents, and have 180 employees. Sisters from 9 states and others from worldwide have called this their home.

Committee Reports

Information & Tourism - Andrea/Tom

Ribbon Cutting and tour of Ivy Manor – Sue Pollster director at 1:00 today.

John Stacy the man hired to distribute booklets has already distributed 4000 Beautiful Campbellsport brochures.

Development – Joel and Larry

CAB presented its second check for business front improvement.

Custom Cabinetry will be building a 4000 sq. ft. expansion

Next wave is to re-create new business to the Campbellsport area.

Truck Pull will be dubbed World’s Largest Human Truck Pull Event.

There will be a carnival type entertainment, and hopefully getting bigger business (non-Chamber members) to sponsor.

Promotions & Events – Jackie/Stephanie

Halloween Caper went well. Good comments about organization. Discussion about regulation of ticket sales. Mr. Billy and big success but unfortunately booked for next year.

The Christmas Walk is slated for Saturday the 3^rd of December from 9-3

Old Business

Judy Holzman, Gwen Kolber to take over the decoration of pots as Jackie Lindsley is unable to move about and in great back pain. They will notify Tom Krueger of how many trees they need for the pots. Discussion of storage of pots after the Christmas season.

New Business

Administrative assistant position job description has been sent to two possible candidates for a job share type of position. Tom and Judy to interview interested parties.
