CACC Minutes for Wednesday September 14th, 2005
Those present at the Campbellsport Community Center were Lori Galligan, Patti Schickert, Jackie Lindsley, Julie Roth, Judy Holzman, Joel Fleischman, Chris Schanen, Andrea Hanson Abler, Judy Christensen, Dean Uelman, and Steve Vogelmann.
Committee Reports
Information and Tourism – Andrea/Tom.
The tourism book "Beautiful Campbellsport" is out and being distributed. Judy Christensen delivered to Streans, Lunch Box, Auburn Bluffs, Dins, Ice Age Center, Rose'’ Country Inn -–Ashford on the 14th.
Tom reported that our books will be distributed in 90 locations, 40 in Washington County and will cost $700.00 for 6 months.
There will be a ribbon cutting for the New Sil’s in the near future.
Development – Joel/Larry
The truck pool netted a profit of $2750., $250 donated by Twohigs, $275 50/50 raffle and $500 donation from the fireman. Led to a total of $3500 for the bathroom improvement.
Certificate, and brat historical roaster, knife, has been donated to the Historical Society for display.
Promotions & Events – Jackie/Stephanie
Halloween Caper is in the planning process and everything looks good to go. Flyers will be out soon announcing all the particulars. October 27th…
Old Business
Farmer’s Market Grand Opening set for September 17th.
New Business
CACC brochure was passed around. Judy Holzman made a model listing the current members, Business Development, Community Awareness, etc.
Discussed an ad for the Kettle Colors guide.
Peace Tree Lights (White) $2350.00 Lori Galligan, and Patti Schickert asked for help funding the lights. They would like to light the tree by November 11th. Motion made by Jackie Lindsley and seconded by Dean Uelman to donate $500.
Welcome Baskets
None delivered in September, but have some for delivery in October.
Next Meeting October 12th 7 A:M Junior High or Elementary School.
