Minutes for meeting held Wednesday Oct. 11. There were 11 members in attendance. Committee Reports:

Information and Tourism; Andrea talked about the Kettle Moraine Map. Kewaskum will be helping to make this a joint project. There will be a committee formed to oversee the making of the map and the distribution. There have been no ribbon cuttings. There are some pending and Andrea will be taking care of this matter. The new sign is on hold. There will be more information in this in the future.

Business and Development: Joel reported that he and Kim Bilgo are working on developing   a new section in the paper along with Andrea called the Chamber Corner. This would be a low cost way for our members to have an ad put in the paper. There would also be a feature that would recognize one business a month. The cost would be $5 to the member and the Chamber would be billed $15. There will be more on this possible project. Joel and committee are also working on running the same principal or something similar in the Action Ad newspaper.

Promotions and Events: The Halloween Caper is going well. All committees seem to be on schedule. Time is 5-9 on Thursday Oct. 26.

Treasurers Report:  It was suggested that we invest some money in a money market that could be used for future development of business in our community. This will be  discussed at a future meeting.

Lois reported that the Welcome Baskets are going out at a good speed. Many new people in have moved to our village. The makeover was a busy time for the Chamber as the phone  calls came in from all over. The web site also had many hits during this time span.

Old Business;  Travel Helper was discussed. It was brought up that maybe we should drop our own booklets. Keep in in a 50 mile radius and pinpoint key locations.

Gwen suggested that we do not makeover the planters for the Holiday Season. If we get to much snow they do not look nice and we have to shovel around them. It was decided to put them away after the fall decorations are over.

The meeting with the FCEDC was discussed. All agreed it was a very good meeting. It was interesting to find out what they are willing to help our village with.

There will be another social on Wednesday Nov. 8 at the Fin and Feather from 5-7. It will feature a whiskey tasting seminar. If anyone would like to donate a gift certificate for this function please contact Lois at 920-979-0080.

There will be a Chamber meeting at the Fin and Feather on the same nite but at 4. The Caper will be discussed and the Christmas Walk will be finalized.

Meeting Adjourned at 1p.m.
