The Campbellsport Area Chamber of Commerce announces the Inaugural BOOM PULL. Businesses and groups are invited to enter a team in the competition. Teams are made up of 6 members (5 on the rope and 1 alternate/cheerleader). Entry fee is $100 per team. All participants will receive a Boom Pull T-Shirt with the team sponsor’s logo on the back. 1st place will receive $500 (sponsored by CBS), 2^nd place $150, 3^rd place $100. 1^st place team will also have $250 donated to the charity of their choice (sponsored by Koffman Auto Body). The first 10 teams to sign up will compete.

Boom Truck: The boom truck donated by Campbellsport Building Supply weighs 34,800lbs and will be loaded with at least 416 bundles of shingles (27,560lbs) for a total weight over 31ton! Teams will pull the boom a max of 100’. Each team will have two pulls in round robin format. The three teams with the quickest time to 100’ or furthest length of pull will each have one pull in the finals. Finals will determine the 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd place.

Boom pull is part of the Campbellsport Fire Dept's picnic and parade. No carry-ins will be allowed in the park. Food, beverages, and other entertainment are available at the park. There will be a fireworks display after the boom pull.
