Meeting called to order at 11:30am, at Culley’s Bar & Grill

Business Development
Joel has resigned his co-chairmanship on the committee and he is being replaced by Mike Wisnefske from West Bend Machining Inc. Dennis Kelliher continues as our other co-chair.
Chris Schanen & Bill Hatch attended the FCEDC annual event. The new Winnebago Project was announced at this event. It should be a help to tourism and business in our area.
The PMI building is available for Rent, 10,000 sq ft with offices.
Information & Tourism
Kevin Riley was introduced as new co-chair. He joins Andrea Hanson Abler.
Kevin is responsible for keeping our website updated. He encouraged all members to update their information on the website. It is a valuable resource that is not being utilized to its fullest. Our chamber website is one of the top 3 to come up when you google Campbellsport. Contact Kevin for more info and help in updating.
Promotions & Events
Easter Egg Hunt was a success again despite the winter weather.
Farmers Market starts June 14th. Village Market Celebration is scheduled for the first Saturday in August. August 2nd. If you know of anyone interested please contact Janet Backhaus.
Judy Holzmann reported on the Flower Planters. She is working with Oran Nehls, Ag teacher at CHS. We are on schedule. Have budgeted up to $1,000 for this project. The village of Campbellsport has been storing the pots for us during the winter.
Social Committee
Lynn Serwe, spokesperson for our newest committee reported that our first social event will: Fiesta Noche!!! It is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21st from 5:30-8:00pm at the Campbellsport Public Library.
Other Items
Tammy Dickman, Regional Services Coordinator for the Alzheimer’s Association, was introduced as a new member. She works out of an office at the St. Francis Center. The association will be having their 7th annual walk on October 4th at Marian College.
Diana Tscheschlok, Community Development Educator, from the UW Extension gave a presentation on what the extension has available to us on development help. Her help is more about “Community” development versus “Business” development but it usually entails both. She shared with us some interesting information on where Campbellsport residents work and where people who work in Campbellsport live. See attachments to this e-mail more info.
