The meeting was held Wednesday, January 9Th at King Pin Lanes. There were 19 members and guests in attendance. Information and Tourism: There was no report. There will be a ribbon cutting at Donald Driver Chevrolet-Buick sometime in the near future. At this time one of the owners and a partner were introduced to the Chamber. They assured everyone that they intend to leave the dealership in the village of Campbellsport. Business Development: There will be a meeting on January 14Th at 6 p.m. at the village office. The Chamber will meet with the Village Board. Topics to be discussed will be the funding for the playground equipment, adding a second welcome sign, adding a kiosk to the Eiisenbahn Trail, what the village's position on business development is and any other ideas that may come up. Brenda Hicks Sorenson will be in attendance. Promotion and Events: The Easter Egg hunt will be held March 22. Easter is very early this year so we are hoping the Easter Bunny will not have to come in a dog sled!! Treasurer's Report: All is well. Lois's Report: There has been little activity this past month. Several phone calls and the usual emails. Lois would like to take a few minutes with the Chamber members to ask their opinion or their comments about the Chamber. She will try to visit as many members as she can before the annual meeting. Old Business/ New Business: DPW will have a walk through on Saturday January 19. The ribbon cutting will be at noon. We have officer positions open for the upcoming term and we also are looking for more active board members. We are asking anyone who would like to be included in the nominations to please contact Tom, Scott, or Julie and we will include their names on the nomination papers. The Annual dinner will be held at the Fin and Feather on Monday February 18Th. Each person in attendance will receive one drink ticket. This does not include ice cream drinks or cordials.
