Minutes for Meeting held September 19, at CC Cody's.

8 members and guests were in attendance.

There will be a ribbon cutting for the Kids Club House Day Care Center tentatively
set for Sept. 26.
The CAB program approved the grant for the Bean Street Cafe. Dodge ball raised
$4,000 at the 4Th of July Festivities. This money is earmarked for new playground
equipment at Firemen's Park. They are also looking into grants that may be
available to help fund this project as well.

The Halloween Caper is ready to go. The hay rides will include a stop at ST. Matts
haunted gym. Music for the event will be supplied by Kevin Riley from Creative
Image and Sound.
Items that still have not been decided are a place to take pictures and maybe a
scavenger hunt. We have had several offers of members that are willing to help
with this fund raiser. If you are interested please contact Chris Schanen or Janet
Backhaus and they will put you to work.

There was nothing new with the financial report. All is well.

Lois reported that the Welcome Baskets are still going out and she also attended a
function for the Chamber in Fond du Lac on tourism. It was very interesting and if
they sponsor this event next year, we should consider sending more people to share
our ideas with them.

The next meeting is scheduled for October 10, at the INN of the Kettles. Please
bring your own lunch.

In addition to these minutes we had a short meeting at our Fall social which was
held at The Lunch Box Restaurant. 7 people were in attendance. There was no
agenda. We did meet our a new representative from the FCEDC. Christian gave a
brief overview of his career and also inquired about our village and the Chamber
activities.

Because we did not have all of totals in from the firemen, it was not certain how
much money was made on the 4Th of July festivities. We expect those totals
shortly.

Julie did bring the financial report, and all was well. There were no other reports.

  Meeting adjourned to the social.
